If you accept whatever questions or would like to find out more than about the Automatic Sensor Cleaning Organisation get in bear upon with one of our technical experts.
What is sensor fouling?
Information technology doesn't thing what the process or application is, at that place is often something in the water that tin cause a build-up of material, or fouling, on a sensor. This tin can cause erroneous results. The solution to this is to clean the sensor.
Is it possible to reduce sensor maintenance?
Using a Pi AutoFlush can reduce maintenance intervals, therefore extending sensor life and reducing cost. Connecting an AutoFlush to a Pi CRIUS®4.0 or CRONOS® controller enables users to select their ain automatic cleaning intervals, meaning manual sensor cleaning is a thing of the past.
Will the AutoFlush affect my h2o quality readings?
No. The Pi CRIUS®four.0 and CRONOS® controllers can be used to create custom settings for the AutoFlush specific to the application, including the time taken for the cleaning cycle to become active and the elapsing of the clean.
Can the AutoFlush be used with every sensor?
The AutoFlush is suitable for several of Pi'south sensors including chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone, pH, ORP, hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid. 2 of these sensors can be installed in the AutoFlush cell at the same time.
Other Pi sensors, such as OxySense, TurbSense®, SoliSense® and UV254, do have cleaning systems bachelor as an option.
Contact Pi to discuss.
How much maintenance is needed?
The AutoFlush cell is maintenance complimentary and the cell self-cleans when the cleaning wheel is activated. The sensors will still require maintenance.
What happens during a cleaning cycle?
The sample inside the AutoFlush cell is starting time tuckered away. The sensor housing (and therefore the sensor) is flushed with clean water. The whole of the interior sensor housing is flushed so that any build-up of solids is washed away. This is repeated at user-defined intervals to prevent solids from building up more than frequently, prolonging the sensor life and reducing maintenance. For waxy or fat build-ups, warm water can be used.
