Sex in the Driveway Drink

The Sex in the Driveway Drink is a twist on the classic Sex on the Beach Cocktail. Instead of cranberry juice, this cocktail recipe uses Blue Curacao. It is quick and easy to make and tastes fantastic.

I will say this drink can be really strong in flavor so you want to make sure you stir it after mixing everything together.

The drink has a peach, orange, and lemon-lime flavor that is refreshing. It is a strong drink consistent with ordering a double drink. You can easily adapt the amount of vodka you use in the recipe if you want a lighter drink.

I am not sure how this cocktail got its name. I will let you use your imagination and come up with a story as to why it is called a Sex in the Driveway drink.

Ingredients

Peach Schnapps
Blue Curacao
Vodka
Sprite

Garnish - Lemon Wheel

Vodka - You can also use white rum if you prefer the taste. Feel free to lower the amount of vodka used if you want a lighter drink.

Sprite - If you don't have Sprite you can also use sparkling water like Lacroix in a citrus flavor.

Bar Spoon

Paper Straws

How to make Sex in the Driveway Drink

Step 1 - Add ice to a highball glass. Add in Peach Schnapps

Make sure you add the alcohol in this order so you get the layered look in your cocktail.

Step 2 - Add in Blue Curacao

Step 3 - Add in Vodka

Step 4 - Top with Sprite

Step 5 - garnish with a lemon wheel and add a paper straw.

You will want to stir it before taking a sip so you don't end up sipping straight peach schnapps or blue curacao.

Recipe Tips

Pour each of the ingredients in order and stir at the end.

Serve with a fun paper straw.

You can double or trip this recipe and serve it in a pitcher if you are hosting a party. Make up a pitcher with the peach schnapps, vodka, and blue curacao and have a bottle of sprite next to it so guests can finish off their drinks.

Set out a fun assortment of paper straws and a bowl of lemon wheels for garnishes and you are ready for a great summer party.

If you don't have highball glasses you can serve this in any glass big enough to make sure you get sprite added to blend the flavors. This can be served in a hurricane glass similar to a blue lagoon cocktail, or in a martini glass.
